Eastbourne Seafront

Location: Eastbourne Seafront, East Sussex
Type of skate: Seafront path and skatepark
Length of path: about 1.2km
Terrain: a nice skate, a little bit bumpy in areas, watch out for stray pebbles from the beach! No hills. The ramps are that slippery coated stuff, and there are a few uneven bits where the corners are flapping up.

Head towards Princes Park or Sovereign Park, plenty of street parking around the area, especially behind Royal Parade.
There is a little shop and also public toilets over to the east end, near to the water treatment works (the building that looks like a fort) there is also a paid carpark here.

I visited this area to attend Eastbourne Extreme which is a free event with lots of unusual sports taking part. I went to see the roller derby and the ramp skating. There is a skate park about half way along this path.
